Ad Disclosure
Where the money comes from, in plain English.
How I make money
DriveThruDaily is supported by two things: display advertising served through Google Ads, and a very small optional paid-subscriber tier ($5/month) that unlocks the searchable archive of older reviews. That's roughly it. I don't accept sponsored posts, brand deals, native advertising, affiliate commissions or "gifted" product coverage on any editorial page.
The banner ads
The banner and in-article display ads you see are served programmatically by the Google Ads network. I have no visibility into which specific advertisers appear on which specific page at any given time, and no advertiser has the ability to influence, review or veto editorial content. Ad units are visually distinguished from editorial text and labeled per Google publisher policy and the FTC's native-advertising guidance.
What I don't do
- No sponsored reviews of any product or brand.
- No paid placement in "best of" round-ups.
- No affiliate links (Amazon or otherwise).
- No accepting comped meals, launch-event food, or media junkets.
- No "gifted" product mentions.
- No pay-to-remove for critical reviews.
If you're an advertiser
Direct-sold display: I currently sell a small number of fixed-position banner placements to companies in the food-and-hospitality ecosystem (POS systems, restaurant equipment, ingredient distributors). These placements are labeled "Sponsored" in the ad unit and appear only in dedicated positions in the sidebar and footer, never inline within editorial content. Interested? ads@drivethrudaily.example.
Sponsored editorial: I don't do this. Please don't pitch it.
